ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

Are you a spiritual LGBTQI+ seeker or person of faith who is looking for a time away to rest, reflect on your identity, and experience community? Come and share a time for retreat, reflection, and kinship among other LGBTQI+ community members and allies at our spring retreat! The day will include time for short presentations, individual reflection, meditation, sharing in small and large groups, and exploring the beautiful grounds of the Center for Urban Horticulture.

Retreat facilitator John Mastalski is a seasoned chaplain and practitioner of Ignatian spirituality. John will guide our day with gentleness, curiosity, and humor and lead us to deepen and celebrate the intimacy LGBTQI+ persons have with God’s Spirit. Together we will honor the many voices in the Spirit of God’s love and care for our whole person.

This program is for anyone who identifies at LGBTQI+ and/or as an Ally and is interested in sharing in an affirming and caring space for those seeking spiritual renewal. The retreat day is primarily designed to center LGBTQI+ voices and experiences. Thank you!

All are welcome to bring a sack lunch for the end of the retreat day to eat with one another. Snacks, coffee, tea and refreshments will be provided. Parking is included as part of the registration fee. Please contact Maria, ISC Program Coordinator, if you have any questions.
