The Hearts on Fire Benefit Dinner is a celebration of the impact participants and our community receive through Ignatian Spirituality Center programs, retreats and spiritual direction.

The ISC provides experiences in the Ignatian tradition that set hearts on fire to promote compassion, healing, and justice. We believe that engaging faith inspires transformation and that transformed people transform the world. Your gifts at this event fuel the ISC’s work of inspiring others.

In 2026, we honor our Peter Favre Awardee Natch Ohno, SJ and Kathy Collins Spirit of Service Award Recipient Corbin Johnson. Natch and Corbin have given so much to the ISC and our community and are deserving of recognition!

Please join us to celebrate the ISC, Natch, and Corbin!

Our 2026 Award Winners

2026 Peter Favre Award

Natch ohno, SJ

The Ignatian Spirituality Center is proud to present the 2026 Peter Favre Award to Natch Ohno, SJ. ISC bestows this award to honor a person who has spent their life in service to Ignatius’ works and ministry—and who reflects the qualities of St. Peter Favre: humility, purity and simplicity, open-hearted relationality, and cura personalis, the care of the whole person.

Father Natch quietly embodies and radiates these Favre-like graces. He has poured himself out in service to the ISC in countless ways over many years, including presenting at the Novena of Grace and the Ignatian Summer Retreat. He serves as the Seattle University Chaplain for faculty, staff, and students and the Provincial Delegate for senior Jesuits. SEEL Puget Sound, JVC Northwest and Cristo Rey Jesuit High School have all benefited from his service. He has been steadily active in retreat work, spiritual direction, and presides at Catholic communities all around the Puget Sound.

A Jesuit since 1983 and a priest for 33 years, Fr. Natch emigrated from Japan to the United States as a young child in the early 1950s. His family’s Catholic faith remained an anchor. “It was helpful for me to get a sense of myself,” Natch said of his spiritual formation, “…I really had to slow down to discover who I was.” His desire to bring his “whole self” to the spiritual journey has become part of his gift to others.

ISC staff know Fr. Natch as faithful, pastoral, humble, and generous. For a life spent illuminating Ignatian spirituality through relationships, service, and deep care for the whole person, the ISC is honored to present Natch Ohno, SJ with the 2026 Peter Favre Award.

spirit of service Award

Corbin Johnson

Corbin Johnson’s Ignatian journey began not in conviction, but improvisation. Fresh out of college, Corbin found himself teaching Sophomore Theology, despite having no formal preparation. When he went looking for guidance, Corbin was introduced to a simple, five-minute daily examen, which became shared daily practice with the students. It was Corbin’s first formal encounter with Ignatian spirituality and became a practice he found himself returning to time and again.

The ISC is proud to award the Kathy Collins Spirit of Service Award to Corbin Johnson, whose heart and work reflects the very heart of the award. A longtime ISC volunteer, presenter, Program Council member (rising to president), and Board member, Corbin’s service and leadership flows from gratitude and cultivates joy.

After moving to Seattle in 2014, Corbin found the Ignatian Spirituality Center almost by accident. While working nearby, he stopped into a weekday Novena at St. Joseph Parish. The experience left a lasting impression. Corbin was, in his words, “hooked.” His return participation soon grew into deeper involvement—through programs, service on the Program Council, and eventually joining the ISC Board at Kathy Collins’ invitation.

“What appeals to me most about Ignatian spirituality is the invitation to see God in all things,” said Corbin. ‘That perspective has shaped the way I approach both my faith and my daily life, reminding me that the divine is present not only in moments of prayer but also in the ordinary rhythms of work, relationships, and community.”

The ISC staff is deeply grateful for Corbin’s commitment to them and delighted to honor him with the Kathy Collins Award.
