About the program
Take the time this summer to rest, renew your soul, and soak in silence on the shores of Puget Sound with this 3-day guided silent Ignatian retreat at the beautiful Archbishop Brunett Retreat Center at the Palisades in Federal Way. This silent retreat will offer stirring and relevant presentations based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, followed by handouts with suggestions for prayer and abundant time for silent reflection, opportunities for individual spiritual direction, evening prayer, and sharing in the Eucharist.
Adults of all ages, faith traditions and spiritual backgrounds are welcome, especially those with an openness to deepening one's experience of prayer in the Ignatian contemplative tradition.
COST
There are a few options to choose from, including:
Residential Retreatant (Single Room) - $450
Residential Retreatant (Shared Room) - $415
Young Adult 20’s or 30’s Retreatant (Single Room) - $395
Young Adult 20’s or 30’s Retreatant (Shared Room) - $360
Commuter Retreatant - $275

About the Presenters
Rosanne Michaels was on staff at St. James Cathedral for more than 20 years, where she was part of the Faith Formation team, providing pastoral care for young adults, returning Catholics, and parishioners experiencing grief and loss. Currently, she continues her spiritual direction practice and presents retreats throughout the area. She loves to tend her kitchen garden, paint portraits, and practice speaking Italian.
Mike Bayard, S.J. serves as the parish priest at St. Joseph–St. Therese Parish. Prior to arriving at St. Joe’s–St. T’s in August, he served as a parish priest at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Vancouver, the southernmost parish in the Archdiocese of Seattle. Mike has lived in Seattle for over 15 years and held several roles at Seattle University within the Division of Mission Integration. He also served on the provincial staff for the Jesuits West Province in Portland. A spiritual director, Mike has led both directed and preached retreats across the Northwest and Midwest. Outside of ministry, he enjoys attempting to play golf and exploring the vibrant IPA scenes of Seattle and Portland.
