ABOUT THIS PROGRAM
If you are an LGBTQ+ seeker or person of faith who is looking for a closer relationship with God, then this retreat is for you! Come spend a few hours together in community with other spirit-filled LGBTQ+ folx reflecting, praying, and sharing as we explore God’s steadfast love. Retreatants will be invited to be part of a beloved community, nourished by the abiding presence of God’s Spirit alive in the community of believers. The day will include time for short presentations, individual reflection, sharing in small and large groups, and enjoying a meal with others on the journey.
This program is designed as an affinity space for anyone who identifies at LGBTQ+ and is interested in sharing an affirming and caring space for those seeking spiritual renewal.
Snacks, coffee/tea, and a simple lunch will be provided.

about the presenter
Curtis Leighton is a teacher and lay minister who has worked with young adults and teens for over 15 years in the Catholic Archdiocese of Seattle. He is a graduate of Notre Dame University and Seattle University, and is also a trained spiritual director who has been formed in the Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius Loyola. Curtis has participated in several ISC programs and retreats over the years, having also served as a facilitator and member of the ISC Program Council. He enjoys gardening, cooking, reading and writing poetry.
