UNTIL THE DAWN:
Advent Morning of Prayer

ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

Join the Ignatian Spirituality Center staff for a morning of Advent prayer as we embrace the Advent season and move towards a horizon of joy together. Until the Dawn is a theme that focuses on the actions we can take as we move through the night with hope for tomorrow.

“Night is a time when the way forward may seem unclear, when our senses are heightened and fear may creep in. And the darkness also brings gifts—rest, regeneration, dreams, intimacy with God… Just as surely as the sun rises, God’s steadfast love and mercy are made new every morning. As we move toward the horizon, we will cry out, start somewhere, speak up, take courage, build up, and choose joy. These actions will help us resist despair and put our prayers in motion.”

This immersive experience will be guided by a beautiful Advent devotional from A Sanctified Art, with opportunities for prayer, gentle music, personal reflection, creative expression, and community sharing. As our gift to you, you will receive the devotional filled with original art, inspiring reflections, poetry, and newly imagined hymns. After the Advent Morning of Prayer, follow along weekly on your own or with friends through the devotional as we continue in the spirit of Advent and towards the Christmas season. Those who register will also receive access to a trove of online resources via a password only website.

Guests will be welcomed with coffee/tea service & light snacks, and will end with lunch after the retreat for an opportunity for fellowship. Free parking is available. All are welcome!
