ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

In this experiential discernment series, we will explore various ways to listen to the Spirit’s movement in our lives, choices, and communities. Through prayer, reimagined presentations, meaningful, creative reflection, and conversation in community, we will consider Ignatian discernment and discuss how it applies in the midst of our current cultural, social, racial and personal contexts. Together, we will learn to cultivate and embody these principles in our everyday lives.

This program is for anyone interested in learning about and integrating Ignatian Discernment as a spiritual practice – newcomers, as well as those seeking to deepen their understanding, are encouraged to participate. All are welcome!

COVID PRECAUTIONS

As we continue to navigate the realities of living with COVID-19 among us, the ISC staff will promote healthy practices to reduce the risk of spread.

We believe each person has their part to play and encourage all participants to be considerate of those around them and the varying levels of comfort there may be.

The staff continues to monitor local community levels, and will adjust practices accordingly, as well as follow local, state and CDC guidelines (which you can read here).

Here are some ways we encourage partnering in creating a safe and comfortable space for all:

  • We ask that you monitor your health, and if you are not well the day of the retreat, please stay home. Note: you may email us to let us know and we will work with you to arrange applying your registration fee towards another future program

  • Staff, presenters, and participants may be encouraged or asked to take a Rapid Test before gathering

  • We will open windows for fresh air ventilation, provide an air purifier and some masks

  • We will provide hand sanitizer and encourage hand washing before snacks/meals; you are welcome to eat outside if that feels more comfortable

  • All are welcome to wear masks indoors to both keep themselves and others protected. We may provide an encouragement to wear one if levels rise locally.

Thank you for partnering with us in caring for all who are participating in this program!
