About this program
As the new year begins, you may want to revive your prayer life with some new forms of prayer. Come learn about and immerse yourself in experiences of up to three unique forms of prayer from the Ignatian tradition:
- January 21 | Examen: Finding God in Your Life with Steve Wodzanowski
January 28 | Igniting the Imagination in Prayer with Carla Orlando
February 4 | Applying the Senses in Prayer with Sue Patrick
Each session includes a presentation, immersion into the prayer form, and reflection on the prayer experience.
The Ignatian Spirituality Center is offering this three-part series as part of St. Margaret's Episcopal Church Sunday Morning Adult Education. However, it is also open to folks from any faith background who would like to attend.
There is no cost to attend this series.

About the Presenters
Steve Wodzanowski, a former Jesuit Volunteer, is a Spiritual Director and Pastoral Associate at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Seattle. He was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate in 2003. Steve is a “Jersey Boy” at heart who loves to birdwatch and take walks near his home in Seward Park with his wife of 30 years, Cyndy. Steve has two young adult children, Danielle and Aaron.
Carla Erickson Orlando discovered Ignatian Spirituality as a graduate student, and it changed her adult life of faith. Now, Carla integrates her spirituality into her work as Seattle Lead Director of SEEL, her ministry with college students, children and families, her spiritual direction with individuals, and her retreats for faith communities. Carla loves art, writing, the beauty of Pacific Northwest, and life with her husband, Joe, and their daughters, Sophia and Josephine.
Sue Patrick has been a member of St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church since arriving in the Seattle area. She served on the staff there as the Adult Formation Coordinator. She was introduced to Ignatian spirituality about sixteen years ago through the Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life (SEEL) and it changed her life. Sue has been a spiritual director at SEEL for fourteen years. She is a wife, mother and grandmother.
