January 28:  Prayer: A Sacred Conversation (incl. Lectio Divina) with John Hickman

John Hickman is Director of Finance and Operations for Catholic Housing Services of Western Washington.  He is a spiritual director, active in the Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life (SEEL) and as a presenter for the Ignatian Spirituality Center.



February 4:  Examen: Finding God in Your Life with Steve Wodzanowski

Steve WodzanowskiSteve Wodzanowski, Former Jesuit Volunteer, is a Spiritual Director and Pastoral Associate at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Seattle. He was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate in 2003.  Steve is a “Jersey Boy” at heart who loves to birdwatch and take walks near his home in Seward Park with his wife of 30 years Cyndy. Steve has two young adult children Danielle and Aaron.



February 11: Igniting the Imagination in Prayer with Carla Orlando

Carla Erickson Orlando discovered Ignatian Spirituality as a graduate student, and it changed her adult life of faith.  Now, Carla integrates her spirituality into her work with college students, her ministry to children and families, her spiritual direction with individuals and her retreats for faith communities. Carla loves art, writing, the beauty of Pacific Northwest, and life with her husband, Joe, and their daughters, Sophia and Josephine.


February 18  Applying all the Senses in Prayer with Trung Pham, S.J.

Fr. Pham received his M.F.A. in drawing and painting with a secondary field in sculpture at the Pratt Institute in New York. He received his M.Div. and S.T.L in theological aesthetics from the Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley. He is an ordained Jesuit priest.


February 25: Deepening Your Prayer: Following God’s Love in your Life (incl. the Contemplatio) with Lisa Dennison

Lisa Dennison arrived in Seattle as a Jesuit Volunteer in 1981 and she continued her work with hunger and homelessness for the next 14 years.  Currently, Lisa is the Executive Director of SEEL (Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life) and has done spiritual direction for over 15 years. She also works with Cabrini Ministry Training, a program which forms lay pastoral care ministers and she teaches many of the classes.  She is married and has two adult daughters.
